Günther updates!

I bought a new bike last year and unfortunately it doesn't have a comfy back seat for Günther to ride in so he's been left at home. Now, he has a good time hanging out with his buddy Ace, but it's just not the same as 'the wind in your face' of riding on a motorcycle. So...

Ace gets a new easy chair as a practice run for the ultimate in riding comfort (Hang in there my friend Günther - it's going to get better).

Ace1 Ace is a pretty cool, laid-back little dude who has had his mind set on a nice comfy black leather easy chair for just hanging out at the old ranch...

Ahhh! Life is good!!!

Günther has no idea that he is going to be styling in a chair of his own, but not just any chair mind you - it is going to be something special...

Gchair1 It's not done yet but as you can see it is going to be something he can be proud of!

Gchair2

Yes, that is a recliner! I can't wait to see the face of the first person I pull up next to in traffic,
when they look over and see this on the back of the bike!

Günther - The Goldwing Years!

For those of you who are familiar with my little friend Günther, you already know the story of how he came to be a biker. For the rest of you here's what happened. Every December our local GoldWing chapter does the Toys-for-Tots ride with everyone else. Last year I decided that the little Santa troll, named Günther, looked like he should come along for the ride. The response from the public was such that he has been riding on the back of the bike ever since. One of my fellow GoldWingers has a Tweety Bird on his bright yellow bike so I am not alone in my insanity!

I thought you may be interested in these pictures featuring his newest riding outfit. It seemed appropriate that he be dressed like the rest of us and since I got my new (used) upholstery sewing machine it was a perfect project to master the use of it.
